What is ‘Gloucestershire Remembers WW1’?

The ‘Gloucestershire Remembers WW1’ project started in September 2013 and was completed in December 2015.

Working together, seven partners delivered a series of activities, exhibitions, online resources, lesson plans and creative performances, to help people, either individually or as a group, learn about WW1 and how the Great War affected their own families and communities.

Although the project has officially finished this website will continue to be available until November 2018.  It will sign post people to the project’s free online resources, as well as inform people of community WW1 events that will be taking place in Gloucestershire until the end of the centenary in 2018.
